Strengthen our Native coverage
A contribution of any amount will be matched up to $500
Spending the last year at Buffalo’s Fire, I have a deeper appreciation for the work our journalists do every day. How can volunteers prepare for the trauma of finding the remains of a Murdered Indigenous person? Our senior reporter Brian Bull shared the work of one non profit in Oregon. What is the status of legal protections for peyote? Darren Thompson is watch-dogging the Department of Justice’s memo targeting long standing protections for the peyote exemption. Buffalo’s Fire is by and for Native peoples.
I’m not alone. Companies care too. KLJ Engineering has put a generous match on the table during our mini-campaign to reach $5000.
Thanks to generous grant support, Buffalo’s Fire has been able to add reporters and increase coverage of Indian Country. It’s important to show that we have your support too. That’s why I urge you to take advantage of this match TODAY. Any amount dollar for dollar will be matched but it won’t last long.
Keep the fire burning!
