The fire is gaining strength

When you build a fire, you need a few ingredients. Dry wood. Kindling. A spark.

We’ve assembled some of these ingredients. We’ve sparked conversations across Indian Country with our coverage of Murdered and Missing Indigenous People and environmental justice for Native lands. We provide a Native perspective on national issues, such as the dismissal of South Dakota governor-turned-Homeland Security-boss Kristi Noem and her proposed replacement, enrolled member of the Cherokee Nation and Oklahoma Senator Markwayne Mullin.

To date, we’ve raised over $1600. We’re less than a week from our March 15 deadline to hit $5000. Help us get there with a contribution of any amount. Just like any fire, we can continue burning with new fuel. Another dry log. More kindling.
